Low-Fi/Hi-Fi Prototyping
The process of putting together prototypes was what really drew me to UX design, and remains my favorite part of the process. I love transforming a paper sketch into an interactive prototype.
UX Research
Conducting UX Research and learning how to interview a user taught me so much about digging deeper into the root of user needs. It also gave me confidence and helped me fight imposter syndrome about not feeling like a "real" designer, as I had to guide conversations, often with users older and more established in their fields. I want to work on more projects that connect me with real users for interviews and user testing.
Project Manangement
Over the past 2 years, I've had the opportunity to lead long term projects. I led the development of VR experiences at Mary Ann Mavrinac Studio X managing a team of over 10 student workers spread over 4 teams. My proudest achievement was leading a team of students in developing Studio X: X-Scape the Cave, a VR escape room. Despite our tight deadlines for the project, we were able to meet our goals and present the game at multiple events!
Heuristic Analysis
During internships, I was tasked with viewing different client sites to quickly assess usability. I got comfortable analyzing sites, noting inconsistencies across layout, branding, and navigation, then presenting my findings to stakeholders. I would pair each note with a solution or two for how it could be solved, and would work with them to ensure their sites were true to their vision while looking professional and being accessible.
Self-Motivated Learning
I've always prided myself on being someone who is always motivated to learn more. Something I learned early into my UX studies was that feedback and constructive criticism are a designer's most important tools. When there's an area I know I can improve, or a tool I think would be helpful to learn, I like to put in the time to hone my skills.
I'm a Brooklyn based Product Designer. I graduated in 2026 from the University of Rochester with a degree in Digital Media Studies and a certificate in UI/UX Research and Design.
