My name is Caleb Kohn-Blank, and I’m a UX designer from Brooklyn, New York, currently attending the University of Rochester. I graduated in 2025 with a degree in Digital Media Studies and a certificate in User Experience / User Centered Design.
After graduation, I was accepted as a Take 5 Scholar at U of R to study Gender, English, and Visual Culture.

What draws me to UX is my passion for design and the ability to find creative solutions to difficult problems. I've always loved puzzles and games, and UX research and design scratches that same itch. I enjoy digging deep to find the root of a problem, and coming up with solutions!

When I’m not working or in class, I enjoy crafting and watching movies with friends. So far I've taught myself the basics of sewing, crochet, embroidery, and weaving. Last year I watched over 75 new movies, with some of my favorites being:
